  1. In 2009, the Meat Trades Journal named the company ‘The Most Innovative Butcher in Britain’ – the company are well known for their unique offerings such as their 1 Bone Sirloin Noisette and Sirloin Pavé.
  2. In 2013, Aubrey received the Royal Warrant to Her Majesty The Queen, as suppliers of meat, poultry and game.
  3. Aubrey Allen, the founder, obtained the first ever slaughter licence in Coventry.
  4. They have been voted Britain’s favourite butcher four years running.
  5. The company supply over 400 restaurants and pubs throughout the UK. Hix Restaurants and Galvin Restaurants are just a couple of examples.
  6. They now have a café and takeaway outlet next door to the butcher’s shop and delicatessen.
  7. The café sell a steak sandwich named after the founder Aubrey’s nickname – ‘the Gaffer.’
  8. One of the companies’ creative butchers won Britain’s Best Lamb product for his Lamb cutlet with parmesan and herb crust.
  9. Aubrey Allen played a key role in pioneering a new apprenticeship standard for the butchery sector.
