Hamish is the businessman in Peach. He is the one who gets the strategy in line with the vision and puts the systems into operation. He makes sure that our suppliers live our philosophy, that the business is under control and safe, and that the banks want our business!
Hamish trained as a chartered accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. He then worked in corporate finance for Lonrho plc in London before joining Cearns & Brown, a large catering supplier, where he was a main board director. When this business was successfully sold to Brake Bros in 2000 Hamish decided to stay in the catering business - and move to the sharp end!
With a track record of helping companies achieve growth, Hamish now spends time hands-on in the pub as well as developing the teams and the strategy. It's Hamish's commitment
